Whole Foods has opened a new store on 15th Avenue West in the Interbay area. This store was a long time in the planning, and eagerly anticipated by the many residents of Magnolia, Queen Anne and Ballard. The new store finally opened this past week, and when I stopped by on a recent evening it was filled with shoppers. Welcome to the neighborhood, Whole Foods. You make a great addition to our food shopping options.

My friends Kim at Seattle Daily Photo and Ming at Bangor Daily Photo are also posting iPhone Wednesday photos today. Be sure to stop by and say hi.

Talk to me about Whole Foods. We have a Real Food Store here, primarily dealing in Organic. Terri and I saw our first store of this type in the early 70's in Berkeley. We enjoyed the environment - of the store.
I love Whole Foods, too. I'll have one of those organic pumpkins!
(Left you an answer on my blog!)
Great angle on the shot. We have Hanneford Supermarket here, which is almost like Whole Food.
I think we'll see more of this type of market pop in time. I like your angle on it, the old truck and the rest of the storefront decoration.
Great photo. Seasonal and I like the blue/orange colour contrasts!
This is a great photo. But, I think few Whole Foods customers will be driving old pickups there. The only "shopping option" Whole Foods offers is the highest prices. It's no coincidence that their nickname in Seattle is "Whole Paycheck".
Michael, you're absolutely right ... premium foods at premium prices ... aka "Whole Paycheck" is quite an apt nickname.
