At the Pike Place Market, you just never know what you might find. So much more than fresh fruit and vegetables, arts and crafts. Indeed, you'll find fresh fun and inspiration and perhaps even permission to just be your quirky self. Like Rob D'Arc. The "Rocket Man" passing through after his ArtSparks gig at Victor Steinbreuck Park for the Seattle City Parks Department.
Rob is also a craftsperson at the Pike Place Market and makes puppets. You can see him most weekends, or visit his Planet of the Puppets web site.
Rob is a funny guy with a long and impressive resume which includes such diverse listings as Knott's Berry Farm, Kidstuff Puppet Theater, teaching puppetry for the California Arts Council, just to name a few. For an eye-popping rundown see his bio. And as you can see in the photo above, he lives up to the name above his head ... Local Color ... Art, Coffee and MORE!

You are fortunate Chuck. Spending so much time at the market you really get a chance to see an interesting mix of people. Great photos.
Interesting:)
A character larger than life.
Now, did you say he makes puppets...or that he IS a puppet? ;-)
what an interesting man with an interesting life.
Man, this guy is a piece of work! I'd like to be a bit like this sometimes... :)
God bless you!
