The Corson Building, built around 1910, is located near the corners of Airport Way South and Corson Avenue South (naturally). A definite oddity in the old industrial area of Georgetown, this gem is tucked neatly beneath a freeway off-ramp. Go figure.
This historic name for the building is the "Bernardo and Rose Germani House" according to information I found on a Seattle Department of Neighborhoods web page. Rather than copy or paraphrase, I'll simply direct you to the information on the Neighborhoods page.
Today the Corson Building houses a restaurant. From a couple of reviews they apparently serve exquisite cuisine ... and according to the menu listings I saw I'll never eat there. Dinner is way too expensive.
